Professional Development
By participating in or contributing to job-related outside activities, you can accrue points toward an AMWA Professional Development Certificate (PDC), which is a way of documenting your commitment to your career in medical communication. Points are assigned to a variety of professional activities, such as attending an AMWA chapter meeting, teaching a class, publishing an article, or taking on an AMWA leadership role. A PDC is issued when an applicant accrues 50 points within any two-year period.
